The Houdini Museum is a cozy repository of Houdini Memorabilia. The Houdini Museum is open on weekends, and every day in July and August through Labor Day. It is a full afternoon of fun for all ages. Doors open at 1 PM. There is a short film in the quaint theater with rare film footage of Houdini, and we briefly show our magicians starring on national TV. The short film is beautifully narrated and edited to let viewers see the actual Houdini on film. Then there is a guided tour through the Houdini building, the only building in the world dedicated to Houdini. The friendly guides take the audience on an entertaining tour through the collection, telling some amazing stories and fun facts about Houdini. It’s a light hearted look at the the life of the Legendary Magician Harry Houdini. The best of course, is the live stage Magic Show. The Magic Show runs about 50 minutes starring Dick Brookz and Dorothy Dietrich and features live doves, a duck, a rabbit, and two poodles all magically appearing during the show, with a lot of mystery, fun and audience participation. At the end they get an audience member to come up on stage for a beautiful levitation. It’s family oriented and appropriate for all audiences. The whole experience takes about 2 1/2 to 3long hours.
